These views read only the local acquisition manifest. They never contact an ESGF index or data node, and data-node observations retain their client and age. For climatological sources, native coverage counts the selected representative time labels and their raw corners, not every date enclosed by the climatology bounds. Use read_subset() to inspect their explicit statistical metadata.

Arguments

dest

Acquisition directory returned by fetch_subset().

view

One of summary, blocks, attempts, nodes, links, candidates, coverage or timing.

source_key

Optional source identities limiting coverage/timing inspection.

Value

A summary list or a data.table of local manifest records. Summary directory_complete reports whether every saved request originated from a fully collected File directory. NA denotes missing directory evidence, including acquisition manifests created before this field was recorded. Coverage reports each saved request's checked native expected/available value counts, four-corner completion and retry eligibility. Unknown axes retain NA counts; native missing values are not scientific qualification. Timing separates recorded open/metadata/data phases from whole failed tasks, whose duration may include useful partial reads and must not be added again. Call these views only while the acquisition writer is closed.
